Está claro que llegar hasta aquí no ha sido fácil.
Cuando hace 40 años se creó Cocedero de Mariscos, no sabíamos hasta dónde llegaríamos ni todo lo que íbamos a pasar por el camino.
No piensas en cumplir décadas, sino en sacar el trabajo adelante, en que las cosas salgan bien al día siguiente y en cumplir con las personas que están confiando en ti.
Con el tiempo te das cuenta de que llegar a los 40 años no es una meta en sí misma, es una consecuencia de haber tomado muchas decisiones. Algunas acertadas desde el principio y otras que te han hecho aprender.
Porque obviamente ha habido muchos momentos complicados, decisiones difíciles y etapas en las que las cosas no salían como esperabas.
Pero si algo hemos aprendido es que esos momentos también forman parte del recorrido— y muchas veces te ayudan a parar y decidir mejor.
Por eso, llegar es haber sabido adaptarse pero manteniendo la misma forma de hacer las cosas. Es haber pasado por momentos buenos, otros no tanto, y seguir teniendo claro nuestro objetivo.
Al final, 40 años no significa que todo se haya hecho perfecto. Significan que, a pesar de todo, se ha seguido adelante.
Y que en muchos momentos ha tocado tomar decisiones que no eran las fáciles, pero sí las correctas.

It’s clear that getting here hasn’t been easy.
When Cocedero de Mariscos was founded 40 years ago, we didn’t know how far we would go or everything we would go through along the way.
You don’t think about decades. You focus on getting the job done, making sure things go right the next day, and on living up to the expectations of the people who are putting their trust on you.
Over time, you realize that reaching 40 years is not a goal in itself, but a consequence of many decisions. Some were right from the start, others made us learn.
Because, of course, there have been difficult moments, tough decisions, and periods when things didn’t go as expected.
But if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that those moments are also part of the journey—and often they make you stop, rethink, and decide better.
That’s why reaching this point means having adapted without losing the way we do things. It means going through good times and not-so-good ones, while still being clear about our direction.
In the end, 40 years doesn’t mean everything has been perfect. It means that, despite everything, we’ve kept going.
And that many times, we’ve had to make decisions that weren’t the easiest, but were the right ones.
